AQUATIC VEGETATION
For the third consecutive year, the Arlington Pond Protective Association (APPA) contracted Aquatic Control Technology, Inc. to survey the aquatic vegetation on Arlington Pond (Arlington Mill Reservoir) during the 2011 season. The survey was performed on August 18, 2011. The objectives of the survey were to determine the distribution of nuisance vegetation, in particular non-native fanwort (Cabomba caroliniana), and update management recommendations. TEXAS HOLD 'EM POKER
APPA really needs more volunteers to work the Texas Hold 'Em Poker charity events at Rockingham Park to raise money for the organization. Please contact Beverly Glynn at the Marina (603-893-8882) for more information.
